Tour Guides! Take Our Survey And Stand A Chance To Win
In honour of tourist guides, CapeNature and the Western Cape Department of Economic Development and Tourism (DEDAT) would like to recognise the important role tour guides play within the tourism industry in the province and beyond.
February 21 is recognised as International Tourist Guide Day, and it acknowledges the importance of and global contribution of tourist guides. The day was originally held in 1990 and celebrated in 15 countries but has since expanded to involve over 70 countries.
To mark International Tourist Guide Day, DEDAT and CapeNature invite Western Cape-based tourist guides to participate in a survey. The survey aims to understand awareness and perceptions of CapeNature properties and identify ways in which CapeNature can better respond to the needs of tourist guides.
HOW TO ENTER:
Step1: Complete the survey.
Step2: Register to the CapeNature Travel Trade programme (for an additional entry)
Only fully registered tour guides may take part in the survey, where they stand a chance to win a two-night stay at Rocherpan Nature Reserve in Velddrif and day access to Bird Island in Lamberts Bay, all to the value of R4,380.
The winner will be announced on March 8, 2024.
